TriviaMeld is a free trivia site. It has quizzes on geography, history, movies, TV, music, sports, science, animals, food and more, with a new quiz of the day every day. You can play every quiz without an account.

How the quizzes are made

Every quiz is written and checked before it is published. Answers are checked against reliable references such as encyclopedias, official records, the United Nations, Wikipedia and IMDb, and each quiz page has an "About this quiz" section that says where its facts come from. Photos come from Wikimedia Commons and other free image libraries, credited to their authors with their licenses.

Facts change: countries rename cities, records get broken and new films come out. Quizzes are updated when that happens.

Ways to play

  • Type-in quizzes, where you name as many answers as you can before the clock runs out.
  • Picture quizzes, where you name what is in each photo, sometimes with two answers per picture (a dish and its country, a painting and its painter).
  • Multiple choice and question and answer quizzes.
  • Ranking quizzes, where you put things in order by size, date or population.
  • Map quizzes, where you place labels on a map or drop a pin as close as you can to a place.
  • Gauge quizzes, where you estimate a number on a dial, and Venn diagram and four-group sorting quizzes.

Every quiz has a time limit, which you can switch off with chill mode, and you can pause and come back later.

Accounts, friends and the quiz of the day

You can play without signing up. A free account keeps your scores and progress on every device, lets you add friends and see how they did on the same quizzes, and lets you share a result as a challenge link for someone else to beat. The quiz of the day picks a new quiz every day, so there is always something new to play.
