Natural Sciences Minefield
From the tiniest cell to the far reaches of space, twelve questions span physics, chemistry, biology, earth science and astronomy. Every step counts, and a single slip sets off the mine. How far can your science knowledge carry you?
About this quiz
The natural sciences try to explain how the physical world works, from the particles that make up matter to the living things built from it, the planet beneath our feet and the sky above it. Most of us met the basics at school, but some of those lessons stick better than others.
This quiz is played on a field of hexagons. Your avatar stands on a tile and the three tiles below it each show an answer. Tap the one you think is right to step onto it: a right answer turns the tile green and moves you on, a wrong answer turns it red and ends the game. Cross all twelve rows to make a path of green tiles and win.
The questions mix the five big branches of natural science: physics, chemistry, biology, earth science and astronomy. Some are classroom classics and a few target common misconceptions, so read every option before you step. You have four minutes, and there is no way back once you step on a tile.
